LuxCLIN stands for Luxembourg Clinical Investigations Network and is the first and unique platform dedicated to clinical research in Luxembourg.

LuxCLIN is aiming to promote clinical research by providing the most accurate, validated and up-to-date information on clinical research to the general public, patients, healthcare professionals, investigators and research partners in Luxembourg.

LuxCLIN has been developed by the Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Centre (CIEC), a Competence Centre of the Public Research Centre for Health (CRP-Santé) in Luxembourg, and represents an additional step towards the formalizing of the clinical investigators network in Luxembourg.

LuxCLIN is in line with the mission and the strategic goals of the CIEC and is aiming to promote excellence in clinical research in Luxembourg by:

• Offering Continuous Medical Education in the field of clinical research
• Ensuring the development and update of GCP competencies
• Communicating on ongoing clinical research with local stakeholders
• Promoting academic research and translational medicine in collaboration with major partners in research
• Contributing to partnership and networking activities with visibility at European and international level
• Contributing to shape and pioneer the future of clinical research both locally and on a European level

Through the creation of LuxCLIN, the CIEC is reinforcing its role as reference centre, collaborating with the national health authorities on clinical trial posting, quality assurance and up-to-date ethical, regulatory and legal requirements for clinical research activities in Luxembourg.
