This is a monocentric academic observational study, in collaboration with the universities of Luxembourg and Trier, of the effects of ELA on adult pathology. A group of young adults having experienced severe ELA adopted by families living in Luxembourg will be recruited, together with a suitable control group.
A total of 280 volonteers will be included.
All subjects will be invited to two experimental sessions, where amongst others a standardised laboratory stress test (visit 1) and a routine clinical psychological interview (visit 2) will be performed.
Visit 1 includes a stress test, questionnaires, blood sampling, saliva collection and cardiovascular / autonomic nervous system evaluation at different time points. Visit 2 is a clinical psychological evaluation.
