“The Advancing Public Awareness in Clinical Research Award” was presented to Dr. Anna Chioti, Head of the Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Centre (CIEC) on April 26, 2014, at the ACRP 2014 Global Conference in San Antonio, Texas. This Award recognizes an individual that has contributed to the public’s understanding of clinical research and to the advancement of the profession.
Dr. Anna Chioti was recognized for the creation of the LuxCLIN website to promote clinical research, for her commitment to the training of young physicians in research, for the organization of conferences and national and international public events, developing educational materials as well as writing monthly articles about clinical research for the local medical community.
