Two articles deriving from the participation of the ORISCAV study (first epidemiological investigation on cardiovascular risk factors in Luxembourg) to the international research network on “NCD Risk Factor Collaboration”, have been published in The Lancet.
These two studies address worldwide trends on Body Mass Index and Diabetes over the last 3-4 decades, with the participation of nearly 200 countries including Luxembourg.
Dr Alaa Al Kerwi is the PI of the ORISCAV study, which has involved the contribution of several colleagues (nurses and researchers) within the Departments of Population Health, the CCMS and the CHL.
