Patient and public involvement (PPI) in Switzerland: What initiatives and projects exist in academic clinical research?

SCTO worked together with partner organisations to answer this question. First, multistakeholder working group consisting of representatives from patient organisations and academic clinical research conducted an online survey. The information gathered from the survey was used to identify and classify individual PPI initiatives and projects in Switzerland. The results show that a wide range of PPI activities already exist in academic clinical research.

You can find out more about the individual initiatives and projects, including the type of involvement, in the PPI mapping section of the SCTO website (status in April 2022).
