New collaborative projects with HOVON (the Haemato Oncology Foundation for Adults in the Netherlands)
CIEC and the Haematology department of CHL have recently established new collaborative projects with HOVON (the Haemato Oncology Foundation for Adults in the Netherlands). Hovon is a Dutch-Belgium foundation established in 1985 and located in the Netherlands with a Hovon coordinator situated in Belgium. The Hovon board includes representatives from Dutch and Belgium hospitals. Beside, Hovon has a long-standing coorporation with other countries worldwide as well. The activities of the foundation are focused on improving and promoting treatment methods for adult patients with malignant haematological disorders, such as leukaemia, multiple myeloma and lymphoma.
Clinical research studies initiated in Luxembourg with the collaboration of HOVON include 2 trials, HOVON 95MM and HOVON 103 AML trials (a third one is foreseen for the near future). For further information with regards to HOVON and related studies, please visit the following website:
