Alessia studied medicine at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (Italy), where she became a medical doctor, and thereafter she obtained the diploma as specialist in medical oncology. She worked at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan initially as resident in medical oncology and thereafter as medical oncologist, focusing on patients with thoracic malignancies and on clinical research as sub-investigator.
In 2018, she moved to Belgium and worked as clinical research physician at EORTC in Bruxelles for 3 years. There she had the opportunity to develop deeper knowledge in the field of clinical research.
After the experience in Bruxelles, she decided to join CIEC for a new challenge in the field of clinical research.
During her spare-time, she likes travelling and reading.
