Once a year, Médecins Sans Frontières holds the Operational Research Day “OR Day” in Brussels, to present field research carried out in its programs worldwide.
The event will take place on Friday 13th June in Brussels, from 9h to 17h. You can also follow the event by live video streaming. This year, MSF will raise issues such as:
Is it feasible to implement effective neonatal care in a rural district in Africa at a low cost?
ART coverage and viral load suppression in Kwazulu Natal
Mapping and analysis of security incidents that affect MSF's medical missions
What is the prevalence of antibiotic resistance among our beneficiaries in Afghanistan?
Operational research plays a key role in bridging the implementation gap between scientific research and practice in health programs. Acquired knowledge on interventions and tools can inform decision-making and enhance the performance of health programs in low-resource settings.
The full program will soon be sent out and will be available on www.msf.lu . For any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Laura Bianchi at laura.bianchi@luxembourg.msf.org .
The OR Day is organized by MSF Operational centre Brussels.
Warm regards,
