The Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Center (CIEC) welcomed a new member:
GUILHERME MARQUES, who joined the team on September 1st 2018 as a clinical research nurse.
Guilherme studied nursing at the Lycée Technique pour Professions de Santé (Luxembourg) where he became a nurse. Since then, he has done several internships in various clinical units, nursing homes and home care in Luxembourg and Portugal. Subsequently, Guilherme decided to go to Peru as a volunteering nurse for half a year to help social groups in dire need of medical attention. There he had the opportunity to prepare himself to better tackle challenges, overcome obstacles, handle emergencies and sharpen his nursing and Spanish skills.
After the experience in Peru he wanted to enter the field of clinical research at the CIEC. During his spare-time, he likes hiking, swimming and playing Badminton.
